THE SOCO WOMEN'S CHORUS PRESENTS "LUX! - A CELEBRATION OF LIGHT”
LUX is Latin for "light," and this concert will explore the many facets of illumination through song. We have a powerful, lush choral repertoire lined up—from serene, meditative compositions to bold, triumphant works.

Feel the warmth of Marie-Claire Saindon’s luminous “Light” and the serene beauty of Sarah Quartel’s “Sanctum” inspired by the soaring landscapes of the Canadian wilderness. Delight in Eric Whitacre’s expressive “Hebrew Love Songs”, a stunning song cycle based on five pieces of poetry.
